The dummy batteries are easy to find on ebay as well, I went with these ones. I'll be using 4 of them + 2 dummy AA batteries.

I'm not sure if that capacity is new or what, but I've been looking for a couple weeks now and this is the first time I've seen them as high as 2200mAh for rechargeable Li-Ion batteries!įor newcomers to the DROZD Blackbird world, the "14500" battery is a AA, not some crazy over sized or undersized battery, it's the exact same dimensions as a standard AA, though there can be some slight variations by a few millimeters.Īnyways, this way I'll be able to save big money on batteries, which means more money for air and BBs. Not sure how much longer they'll have them in stock for, though I'd be surprised if they didn't re-stock them quickly! I found an ebay store that sells a 20 pack of 3.7V 2200mAh rechargeable Li-Ion batteries for about $30!. So I thought I'd add to this incase anyone in the future searches for this topic. So that means that, although the Quantum may not last as long, it's more or less the Alkaline equivalent of the Energizer Ultimate!!! And because the Quantums are mega cheap (all things considered) they'd be more cost effective, as in more power to dollar ratio. If you look at the data chart he made, you can see that the Energizer Ultimates are at the top for best batteries out of all the batteries he's tested, including several regular 'ol Alkalines, but just under the Energizer Ultimate, is the Duracell Quantum! The "real" comparing and reviewing starts at 15:35.īasically, and please correct me if I'm wrong after you've watched the video starting at 15:35, the data shows that the Duracell Quantum batteries may not last quite as long as the Energizer Ultimates, but keep it's 1.5V current all the way to the very end, with no slow down. And so I started to do some research on them, found this video I would and still might, get the 900mAh rechargeable lithiums, but 900mAh is very, very little and wouldn't last very long.īut I found the Duracell Quantum Alkaline batteries. They work.lol.īut because I'm a cheapskate, I continued looking at other batteries. So I went with the Energizer Ultimate Advanced non-rechargeable Lithiums.
